"if someone claims that ‘less’ and ‘fewer’ are interchangeable"

Noooooo! Surely this can't now be allowed? This is the conversational correction I most enjoy making!

Sometimes people get the wrong idea when think "social." For me and my "network" it's more about advancing our ideas. We are a group of progressive educators who try to get teachers and decision makers to think out of the box. Our circle uses Twitter, for example, to share examples of great teaching practices. We blog about these contantly and share great ideas. It is a non-linear effort to push people out of their comfort zone to teach students IN their comfort zone!

Thanks for the comment! Re: judo, I did give it a go - but after an entire hour spent mostly lying underneath a heavily perspiring Roy Inman, I'm not sure I left the dojo with a greater understanding of it :-)

Hey you!
I have slowly but surely got into Twitter, still only in up to my ankles but increasingly find myself Twittering. As per Clive Thomson, Twitter (along with Blogs/Judo/Life/etc.) needs to be done to be understood.

Great to find you have a blog by the way.

See you in April hopefully.
